I'm all for inclusion of all people in our society. No one should be prejudiced for who they are.

BUT! Today I have to draw the line! Listening to the Play School alphabet song with my kid and it goes "A, B, C, D....X, Y, zed or zee". Since when is this blatant destruction of our national identity accepted?

I'll be picketing outside the ABC's head office from tomorrow and following that the education office until this travesty can be corrected! Who's with me?!

Would it not be economic suicide to do so?

Of those who would have been able to make a direct impact, I can only remember Osimhen and the money was very likely not there for one Europe's best. Especially considering he was the only one on the market, so at a premium...

Maybe I'm wrong though... You would have had a better overview, that list was really well maintained!

Looking at the squad we have I think top 3 is the short term goal. If you want to win the league, you need to spend like city has for the last 5 years.

We've also been lucky that all the other big clubs have made very poor strategic moves (Chelsea, Spuds, United...)

The club has its goals and I think it's sit and accumulate a return on the last 4 years of KSE's investment.

Which attacking player/s would you recruit? I don't see the options there tbh.

Ah wow, I had current lfp at around 220-250 but that looks like it's on the R&D lines and not in series production yet

I guess with the sheer amount of research being lumped into Lithium batteries at the moment, I would be surprised if it is overtaken by anything short term at least in the auto space. Let's see...

Just to clarify, the article states these are for low voltage systems inside cars, and not powering cars themselves.

Which makes more sense as the density of Na-ion is ~30% less that Li-ion.

The auto industry does not have a choice. They need batteries and will not get them from European suppliers, as they cannot deliver the same cost and quality AND they need the growing wealthy population there to keep their bottom line up.

Maybe 5-10 years down the line there will be enough forcing of Chinese battery suppliers to open factories in Europe to reverse this, but it is not going to happen soon. Maybe the tarrifs will speed this up, maybe not.

Do the economics of nuclear make sense though? A quick search showed around $5k/kW capacity. That's $5 billion per GW. Then there's permit and build times on top of that.

Surely renewables + distributed storage is going to become key?

Is there already extensive precedence of undersea, long distance power distribution? I could imagine the losses would be outrageous at that distance.

Bluetooth and the 2.4 GHz ISM band is not electricity and is highly resilient to moderate noise over short distances. Problems are usually caused by hardware related issues.

I would argue all connected cars have become that. If you're buying anything newer than 2015, in all likelihood it's a spyware filled go-kart.

We have finally reached the point where we no longer have enough space to dry our clothes indoors, and will need to invest in a dryer.

We have a washing machine in our bathroom (also small) so the dryer would ideally go under/over that.

Does anyone have experience building or buying an appropriate stand? The dryer and washing machine will likely weigh about 50-60kgs each.

I have a mech engineering background and have been tasked to look into electromagnetic product design in the coming years.

Before I dive deep and tackle this change, I would like a refresher on electromagnetic radiation, especially low power applications. Massive bonus points if there are any resources which include regulation too.

Anyone got any worthwhile resources?

I have a large number of photos edited and ready to go and want to then them into an album. Does anyone have any recommendations for any FOSS software that I can use to arrange the images to pages, and add text?

I intend to send the data to a professional printer for printing and binding.

My first thought was Libre Office's Draw, but maybe this community has something more appropriate.

I personally think each of the challenges are well thought out!

Favourites: Badder Bosses and Swarm Intelligence. These imho add a nice layer to the game.

Least favourite: Into the darkness, it annoys me getting sniped from a ranged enemy without seeing anything.

Special shout-out to pharmacopoeia and faith is my armour. I cannot finish the game with these on - anyone got any tips?

I am way out of my depths even looking for one. If anyone has any pointers, it would be a huge help!

For info: I use 2 Edifier R1280s and normally on relatively low volume, so it doesn't need to be anything crazy, but I will slowly build my sound system over the next 4-5 years and would like to not need replace a new record player (which will be a central piece) in the coming years. Willing to spend €350 depending on quality.

Many thanks BAs!

I'm looking for a book (preferably eBook) which explains one or more engineering projects in great detail.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Hi all, I'm looking for a resource or book to get further into photo editing. Preferably something that explores a handful of scenes and/or portraits and outlines or builds on basics to advanced techniques. I hope that's not too generic of a request...

Anyone here have any tips?
