[Answer paraphrased from the dev so apologies if I use terms incorrectly] The game is built in Flutter (which would help us move to this being in app stores later down the line) and Flutter isn't like traditional web and doesn't use HTML and CSS, and instead relies on a custom library, which is canvaskit and wasm. I believe that's what you're likely seeing is that custom library for the pixel rendering :)

Thanks, Squirrel! I'm hoping to add one feature to normal mode to help make it a little easier, but all depends if we can get it done by Friday! If not, will have to wait until I can squeeze more development time but fingers crossed!

Lots of small fixes here to make things smoother on mobile! Please let me know your thoughts! A few more changes on the way but here is a big start!

Instructions:

1.Solve the grid using the clues provided. The direction of the word is indicated by the number around the grid (so some words are backwards).

2.After you complete the grid, click the pencil icon tab at the bottom to switch over to solve the anagram. The title is a hint to the anagram!

Hmm, that's an odd one. Do you get any sort of error? Does anything load at all or does it just spin in "everload" mode?

Try not to groan too hard...

Yeah this is the reason! I try to give a Mr. or Ms., such as Mr. Willis for Bruce Willis, but since this they're French I opted for "M."

May your brain be ready to go on this one!

The 5th clue was: Mr. Jennings, Jeopardy! host and former contestant with a 74-game winning streak (b. 1974)

I often go for a loose pun for the title, but this time I tried more of a scattershot of association with >!the merry men: Maid Marian, Will Scarlet, Friar Tuck, Little John, and Much the Miller's Son!< - hopefully not too left field!

Yeah it was 2 across I was curious about. I have done roman numerals in the past without much complaint, but was interested to see how this could go because strictly speaking they are numbers!

Sub 1 minute! Excellently done!!

Testing out a new clue type here and curious the reception. They'd be rare, but are occassionally helpful in solving for a grid!

Hope ypu enjoy!
