I'm not a patient gamer generally speaking but I put so much time into the OG trilogy (all pirated) as well as all the modded repacks over the years (countless hours spent in gamma) that I felt obligated to support them this time around. Since I am no longer a broke kid playing on a laptop that can barely handle the game it feels right to give them full price for a game finally.
I put about 8 hours into stalker 2 before I shelved it. Not because I wasn't having fun, but I want them to just put that final layer of polish on the game before I finish it. I had already modded it to basically work the same as previous games with some adjustments to make up for the lackluster Alife on launch, but there were still some minor things that I have heard they have been fixing that will probably make finishing my save in a few months more enjoyable so I am happy to wait a little.
It's like when you are trying to blindly install a USB type A . First orientation is wrong so you flip it. Second orientation is wrong so you get confused and flip it again only for it work easily lol.
I say go for it. Let's see who's thinking about their ex more in a few years.
