Better safe than sorry.

5 days.

During my winter break in junior year, I was staying at a farmer’s house. It didn’t have heating, and the temperature outside stayed around -10°C the entire vacation — it was freezing! Taking a shower was extremely inconvenient. Since I wasn’t very active during the day and hardly sweated at all, I ended up going five whole days without a bath. As a southerner who’s used to showering regularly, I couldn’t stand the greasy, uncomfortable feeling anymore. So when I found out there was a public bathhouse not too far from where I was staying, I practically ran over there and treated myself to a long, hot, relaxing bath — even soaked in one! It felt absolutely amazing.

Oh man, that's insane story! I can't imagine how hard had you been through in these three weeks surviving alone in the snowy wild.

Very lovely! My cat also has similar quality. It's mental-healing and facinating, isn't it? 😁

Man, you are just doing great.

My daughter is 1 year old now and I still remember how my wife and I took care of her. Baby at this age just need to sleep a lot to grow. You can sing or do what you're good at to stimulate him as you described of course, but you shouldn't be annoyed when he seems not listening because the period when he is awake is not very long at a time. We just used black and white cards to practise her eye tracking ability meanwhile train her neck muscle. And we let her grab one of our fingers to practise her strength of her fingers which complied with the nature pattern of baby's growth.

When he crys suddenly, you shall check if he has pee-pee or poo-poo simply by smelling, looking at the color indicator on the diaper, and check his diaper as well if needed. His awareness of the body is developing, he might not feel comfortable when he pees or poos, so stay alert whenever you hear him cry or see him kicking his legs.

As for feeding, I totally understand why you and your wife is anxious. But please, do your best to comfort your wife and tell her that she is doing amazingly good, don't force it too hard. And most importantly, build her confidence that she can do breast feeding as she wants to. I really believe that when your wife and you calm down, your kid will sense parents' emotions. You know, every kid is unique and different, maybe your kid acts a little lazy when sucking milk from his mom, but do give him and your wife more patience.

My wife was quite anxious that she might not generate enough milk to do the breast feeding before giving birth, but one hour our daughter was born, she found all her previous worries were just nonsense.

Be patient, you and your wife will do better and better as you practise more.

Agreed. The toddlers I taught loved to watch cocomelon, but not addicted too much. They just followed the characters to act and play. They learned some words and also learned to get along with others nicely.

Defintely he is my loyal audience.

Sorry for replying late. His name is Potbelly, which means a round belly as a pot. We gave him that name simply because the fun fact that every time he was full, his belly was as round as a BIG BALL! 😂

You're so nice! Indeed he is so adorable and innocent. He is our family member, we all love him very much. 😀 Cheers!

Thank you. In fact that's our first cat, we've never kept any cats before, not to say to raise a new born kitten. Luckily, we know how to take good care of him as we search online and constantly ask friends that are cat owners.

Probably. His eyes must be affected when we found him, some slimmy thing just ran out of his eyes. His mother or his previous owner thought it was worthless to keep him... I am glad he is now a healthy and charming guy!

Probably only 3 or 5 days after he was abandoned because he was so little and fragile. My wife and I heard the meow sound on the way home. We waited for several minutes and finally found him at the corner of a pile of trash, dirty, eyes closed with slimmy thing, almost dying.
