I like this take on organic base building. Using the landscape to shape buildings has a proud tradition in architecture.

No roof! If you look closely, you can see I put one square of embrasure in the wall around each geothermal generator. Keeps the enclosure designated as outdoors and prevents pawns from building a roof over them.
