What is happening currently in Canada in reaction to Trump isn't nationalism, its patriotism.

Whittington is 2 seperate holding companies, one in Canada and one in the UK. The Canadian one ultimately owns Loblaws and family...the one in the UK controls ABF and its subsidiaries. Money flows from both to the Weston family, and my original point then was that poor beaten down Galen would benefit.

... And who owns ABF... ackshually... I mean...its RIGHT in the wiki page you linked.

Primo https://www.primofoods.com/primo/index.php

Owned by Sun-Brite, which is independent and Canadian. Fun fact, they make Heinz Ketchup for Heinz too.

Here are the stores that carry it https://www.primofoods.ca/primo/ketchup.php

Tell your store you want them to carry it...they likely already carry other Unico or primo products (both are Sun-Brite)

Change our laws to make the social network responsible for what is posted if it is foreign owned. Canadian owned can have the shield. That'll kill them, fb, reddit and the rest in Canada and we'll see homegrown replacements take shape. Governments at all levels should not be using social media, they should have central websites/apps where they can post information that can be spread by RSS. Canadians would be free to repost to any network they want to discuss but the government, imo shouldn't be on these networks.

No problem with increasing spending but I do have a problem with the US integration. Time to re-evaluate needs to be taken.

Bought through Well.ca (now Canadian owned) to avoid the Shopify ick.

Decided i'm not onside with the PVA in the tru.earth strips so went with Nellies powder that I can buy in bulk brown bags in my city instead of the tins/plastic buckets they sell with normally.

I'm buying Jordan's now, made in the UK but owned by Galen Weston and his fam...so profit at least flows back😒 . Buying Canadian made by a Canadian company shouldn't be this hard but hey, integrated economies with your best ally does that...then leaves us here. Hope someone steps in.
