Your setting sounds incredible! I'm a huge sociology nerd and love seeing alternate economies to the standard feudal mercantile/anachronistic fantasy capitalism used more often in fictional settings, and a gift economy in a post-apocalyptic setting just makes the most sense.
Post-apocalyptic bronze age cephalopods rebuilding society off of scavenged nuclear material may be one of my favorite concepts I've heard of in a ttrpg, and I could scarcely imagine ignoring a plot hook like that simply based on how cool and unique that is.
Also love you pointing out something many monogamous and annoying number of "poly" folks fail to realize that you can cheat in poly relationships by keeping partners uninformed and crossing boundaries like that.
If you're still looking for players I've been playing/DMing for over a decade now and tend to have a lot of availability. I actually navigated over from reddit after seeing this cross-posted because I'm kind of obsessed with this whole premise and would love to get involved in a survival horror rpg again!
