Well now my childhood is ruined.
I had a toy bus with people that looked like this that sat in it. It was one of my favourite toys -- I called it Derek's Bus because....... well that's a long and complicated story I don't want to get into, but it was one of my favourite toys. (I might still have it in a box upstairs).
And now I learn they are called "PEG PEOPLE"?? So if I do find it in a box that is ALL I will be thinking about!!!

In 2003/2004 would people have said the same thing compared to Reagan, or Nixon? That compared to Bush, Reagan seems downright reasonable, or compared to Bush, Nixon seams down right reasonable?
I remember a lot of protests against The Patriot Act? And against Guantanamo Bay?
I remember a lot of right-wing patriotism sweeping through the USA and people being condemned for not falling in line.

I have to admit, my corner of tumblr seems remarkably passive about this past week. No freaking out, no mad panic, no "it's the end of the world"

shrug It's always looked like that, and I haven't done anything to make it look like that (if that makes sense -- I didn't go in and tick a setting that was captioned "make it look as confusing as possible").
I just never bothered to investigate the settings, except for the one that makes it scroll forever and ever. That one I turned off because ARGH!!!!
