It's not about religion. Don't fall for this narrative.

Iran has its Jewish community which has political representatives.

At the end of the discussion Khomeini declared, "We recognize our Jews as separate from those godless, bloodsucking Zionists"[62] and issued a fatwa decreeing that the Jews were to be protected.

The thing is, Israel's behaviour is not new. The populations in the Arab countries already had that sentiment for more than a decade (cf. Osama bin Laden's letter to Americans). Now awareness is reaching the people in Western countries.

I really don't understand why people are still talking about religion at this point.

I believe the humanitarian situation and the exasperation on one side and the economical interests and such on the other far outweigh the religious motivations

This is why Pixel phone regular updates are a big deal, and a reason to run a regularly updated third party ROM like LineageOS.

This is the very reason why I use LineageOS (as well as getting rid of bloatware).

Science is based on the principle of the inference to the most plausible. When you have multiple theories explaining a phenomenon, the one which makes the most sense with regards to the gathered data is deemed THE explanation. That is, until another theory comes with more compelling data and evidences.

Example: the "static universe" cosmological model

Science is basically our best understanding of the world. Doesn't mean it's 100% true, but it's how far we got.
