Reasonable question, most people usually enjoy the craftsmanship that goes into the mechanical movements of the watch and it's aesthetics. Some people may also like them because they never need to charge or have a battery change as long as you wear it often enough. (Provided you have an automatic). But the "I just find them neat" is a big part of it for a lot of people.

The great part of the fediverse is that everyone can use whatever they want. Personally I stick to Foss clients though.
