Where to start with The Dresden Files? (lemm.ee)
 

Given the name of the leader of this community, I figured I’d throw this out there:

I’ve never read any of Jim Butcher’s books, and have heard good things about The Dresden Files.

Where do I start? Is there a good website to show a suggested reading order, etc?

Literally gave up and sold Scythe because I found the instructions to be convoluted and too difficult to explain to my group

I’m not too worried about it. I like Shadowheart, Karlach, and either Wyll or Gale as the 4th, and I play a version of a Dragonborn Paladin that I recently played in a Foundry Descent to Avernus campaign, so I’m having a blast with it!

Yeah, I don’t have this Astarion that everyone e is talking about, or the Gith from the opening scenes. I’m about to exit the Underdark in Act 1, so I think I just totally missed these two.

Oh well, they’re for the second play through then!
