Menzies oversaw the nation building that occurred after WW2 and everything that has come since has been heavily influenced by his work.

Though I do rate Whitlam and Hawke highly as well so Im pretty happy with responses in this thread!

So he was, according to one claim, disrespectful to the people who were disrespecting fans and his wishes to make a faithful adaptation.

I see no problems here.

Oh and saying it’s a ‘problem’ that he didn’t want to perform sex scenes for misandrist show runner and writers isn’t a negative. He stood up for himself.

Rent got high enough it matched the interest on a loan for me… so now I’m a home owner.

Understandably not everyone is in that position but I hope we can boost home ownership rates or we’re in for a very bad time.

Is Linux perfect? Absolutely not and I have never made that claim.

My point was merely that Windows users are bombarded with popups from the start and Microsoft are only going to get more aggressive with their monetisation practices.

Im annoyed about stuff all the time on Linux but rarely do I feel the seething rage I get when Windows tries to push ads on me. On an OS I fucking paid for.
