The song is "Love Grows" by Edison Lighthouse. Spoilers for Season 1 and BtS in the video.

The song is "Late Goodbye" by Poets of the Fall. It's a damn good song in its own right, but it was also featured as part of the soundtrack for the video game "Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. A Film Noir Love Story" (that title is a mouthful). It's an action game, but it prominently features a romance between detective Max Payne and mysterious hitwoman Mona Sax. A romance which seems to be doomed by cruel destiny, but can be saved if you put in enough work (finish the game on the highest difficulty).

Spoilers for Season 1 in the video.

The song is "Natalie" by Milk & Bone. You may know it from LiS Season 2. Spoilers for Season 1 and Farewell in the video.

Spoilers for S1 in the video. The song is "Orchids" by Velvet Moon.

Spoilers for S1 and BtS in the video. The song is "Circle" by Edie Brickell & New Bohemians. It's a very sad song about feeling abandoned.

In my mind, one of the most dramatic moments of LiS S1 is the confrontation between Max and "Evil Max" at the end of Max's nightmare in E5. It represents Max facing her fears and doubts and overcoming them, because of her love for Chloe.

I wrote a piece of fanfiction based on the idea of "Evil Max" breaking free and coming back to haunt Max and Chloe. As you may have guessed by the title, this is a crossover between Life is Strange and Alan Wake. This is because a place featured in the Alan Wake games - Cauldron Lake - has the known property of spawning evil doppelgangers of the people who come into contact with it.

I am first and foremost a Life is Strange fan, so that component of the story is much more prevalent, but I feel I did justice to Alan and Alice Wake too.

This is a complete work. I separated it into four chapters for ease of reading.

It's a little bit horror-y, but only a tiny bit. And I don't think it even counts as a spoiler if I tell you that no character is killed, that Evil Max gets her comeuppance again and that Max and Chloe drive off into the sunset together at the end.

This story is a follow-up to both the LiS comics and the game "Alan Wake's American Nightmare", but honestly, even if you're familiar only with Life is Strange Season 1, you're going to understand everything that's going on.

Spoilers for S1 and Farewell in the video. The song is "Worthy" by Casey Lee Williams, Martin Gonzalez and Ariyel. It's a part of soundtrack for the animated series "RWBY", but as usual, I hear Pricefield everywhere.

Spoilers for BtS in the video. "To the Moon and Back" by Savage Garden is a song about a deeply unhappy girl waiting for the right person to take her far away, where she can be happy. Sounds like Rachel Amber.

Spoilers for BtS in the video.

spojlerThe song "Supergirl" by Reamonn is about a girl who maintains a facade of being strong and composed on the outside but who in fact is hurt and vulnerable on the inside. Sounds like Rachel Amber.

Spoilers for BtS in the video.

spojlerThe song "Alone" by the band Heart is about fear of being alone and trying to find courage to confess your love. I think that fits the story of Chloe's and Rachel's love perfectly.

Spoilers for S1 and BtS in the video.

spojlerBetween Max, Rachel, Eliot and Justin, who in Arcadia Bay isn't pining for Chloe? One of my favourite moments from the LiS comics is when Rachel is approached by a guy from her theater group and she immediately assumes that he'll ask for her number. Well, he asks for a phone number ... But not hers. He asks for the "blue-haired chick's" number.
