Woah - this sounds absolutely divine. NOTES: Brazilian bitter orange, rum absolute, petitgrain, clove, vanilla from Madagascar, tolu, guaiac wood, vetiver, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, tonka bean, leather, musk, amber. This goes on my list for a scent split!
Unfortunately, this is not a great bug spray - it just smells like it. I occasionally blind buy, as I don't have any really great shopping destinations locally.
So glad to hear that! 🐈
Top 3 varies with the season and my mood. I love citrus and light florals for spring/summer; and warm spicy scents for fall/winter. I love the scent of violets, so Guerlain Insolence is a staple item, citrus like the grapefruit in Fresh Hesperides or Hermes Pamplemousse Rose is great, Florals like Hanae Mori Butterfly are nice...I just can't decide!!!
Very nice! My grandmother introduced me to perfumes, and Diorrisimo, Shalimar and Chanel 19/22 were among the top of the list back then!
Sounds spectacular! I'm going to have to look into getting a sample split of this to try.
Wishing you the best - hope your baby comes home.
We'll keep you in our prayers.
Wow - very cool! The ability to composite all of these components to bring an image to fruition is amazing!
Hello, Q! Thanks for another great post. It's great to learn about new scents. In the past decades, I never really liked anything with smokiness. However, in the past 12-18 months, I have come to really enjoy more variety and appreciate some smoky fragrances. I'll keep this on my list of things to try. Thanks again!
I agree with you on the longevity of several newer Creed batches. It's a little disappointing, because they have some nice fragrances, but their formulations seem to be waning.
Great post! Wow - this sounds amazing! Leather and iris - yes!!!!! I'm wondering how similar it is to Hermes Violette Volynka, which smells very much like a massive dose of new shoe leather.
I'm definitely looking for a decant on this - which just inspired another post. 😀
