I agree wholeheartedly! Let's make tipping mandatory. In fact, let's add it on to the price of your bill automatically. Better still, let's just add it onto the menu price. Oh hey, we've come full circle.

This is intriguing. Does it still try to force you to use a Microsoft account? Would make no sense for a server version, but you never know with microsoft's bullshit sometimes.

After reading about all the trouble they go to for passports, social security numbers are hilariously fucking inadequate by comparison (or even in absolute terms, for that matter).

As several people in this thread have pointed out, some forms of slavery do exist in the US. For example, prison labor, sex trafficking, and other forms of coerced labor.

However we do not have chattel slavery, where you can actively buy and sell other humans as property. I would be extremely surprised if that ever made a comeback.

I like to shit on big pharma as much as the next guy, but in this case, yes they do. Developing new drugs is a ludicrously risky and expensive venture, typically costing billions of dollars. Sometimes it may be subsidized somewhat, sure, but the vast majority of it is coming out of pocket for these companies.
