Of course you can!

I look forward to the day I never hear about this guy again.

What's shameful is Spotify is still allowing some of Andrew Tate's content. If you have a Spotify account please consider contacting Spotify and send them a message saying you want Andrew Tate completely removed, want Spotify to stop funding Joe Rogan and demand a feature to block podcasts the same way you can block artists for songs. Also maybe consider ending your Spotify subscription. When you cancel your subscription you will be prompted to explain why you're canceling. It's crucial to fill you the reason. Say you're canceling because you don't like Andrew Tate and Joe Rogan.

I see this article as being step one or maybe I'd say step zero for people. You're healing from the abuse caused by Trump. I think even if people only did what this article suggested and nothing else it would make a fairly big different, I don't think it would completely stop him. The advice in the article applies to everyone including those in the media who are enabling Trump.

For those who's mental health is hurt following these steps will allow them to have more energy and focus for combating Trump.

If you want some actionable items I would suggest helping people boycott the biggest donors to the GOP. Boycott Elon Musk by boycotting Twitter and Boycotting Tesla, this is most important boycott since he was the biggest donor. There are initial signs the boycotts are starting to work, if we keep the pressure up we can defeat the highest donor to the GOP. Then we can move on to other high donors to the GOP such as Uline. I would also recommend in parallel start working towards building more political will for moving away from fossil fuels, since they're hurting the planet and also because they donate tons of money to the GOP.

This article is relying on anecdotal evidence citing only a few random Reddit and Bluesky posts and some of the claims in the article are not backed by any evidence. Also note that the Reddit links I clicked on are all heavily downvoted.

Denise is a person that's been long involved in trust and safety analyzed a lot of the Gaza accounts and found that https://bsky.app/profile/rahaeli.bsky.social/post/3lpxyoe4efk26 only 18% of Gazans were actually posting in Gaza time. Of course she didn't publish hard data so this claim isn't 100% scientific either but the poster is pretty reputable I feel.

Note later as a counterargument to this I did find one person who claimed they have a 4 AM morning prayer. I don't know how many Gazans take part in that. https://bsky.app/profile/anothersmd.bsky.social/post/3lpyetkltys2y I did verify that some websites say they have a prayer at around 4 AM.

Also if you've ever used Bluesky before it used to be that you'd get random replies and mentions asking for money, recently they've gotten this much better under control.

So I think what is really happening is people post unsolicited requests for money on posts that are unrelated and they get correctly marked as spam.

Until we fix this please do not come here.

The so-called birthrate crisis is manufactured by morons like Peter Thiel and Elon Musk who clearly didn't pay attention in science class and didn't learn about logistic population growth https://www.britannica.com/science/population-ecology/Logistic-population-growth and those who see a line going down and assume it will keep going down at the same rate forever.

I hate him so much that I'm telling everyone I can to boycott Tesla, sell your Tesla stocks and boycott Twitter.

Thank you for that! I didn't know he owned so many. I wish News Corp called themselves News Corpse because News Corp is where honest news and integrity go to die. (Note that these publications are actually owned by News UK but one of his other companies is called News Corp)

I heard that Sky News got sold and I think since improved but you're right that there are a lot of non-Murdoch bad publications like The Daily Mail.

Is there a different Murdoch-owned new station or newspaper I don't know about in the U.K.?

We'll defeat them all!

Twitter could be used as a weapon against Canada to promote destabilizing political movements such as the Alberta separatists mentioned in the article. I'd go as far as to say that Twitter under Elon Musk functions effectively as an extension or an arm of the Trump regime. No one should be using Twitter, especially those in other countries who are at risk of foreign influence from the Trump regime.

That's why I'm calling on Canadians to boycott Twitter and urge institutions, business, universities, sports teams and celebrities to switch to Bluesky. Most websites have an about or contact-us section. Use that and urge them to boycott Twitter.

I totally get what you mean! The most important thing is to call, no worry about the words you will use.
