My take: Boxing fans were a dying breed, especially after UFC took off. Jake Paul has a following of younger people who are getting into boxing through him. They are desperate for more viewers and these events are cash cows so they're more than happy to oblige.
Bongles
The good old days.
The way sign up currently is, probably not. It would still default to bsky.social and your average person isn't going to think about it.
Nope. His major companies rely on government funding and regulation, and now he's going to be whatever it was called for Trump. A cool 44 billion to actually control parts of government?
Kind of. If anybody signs up for that premium lite they're fools.
I'm really sick of companies making changes that are clearly negative, and claiming it's a good thing, like in your example. Somehow they've all come to the conclusion that if they just say it's a good thing people will believe it.
Then you haven't been watching. These things have come from HIS mouth.
I get it if you haven't. Lots of people wrote this election off 2 years ago and didn't want to hear it. A friend of mine simply thinks democrats didn't help the economy and doesn't keep up with anything political. So SHE ignores that he's genuinely a rapist and gets offended when people claim she's supporting one. She thinks it's a lot of fear mongering (which certainly exists). Based on polls that I saw, this is basically how a lot of these people voted - for "economy" reasons.
Interesting, Rao's became my favorite brand of jar sauce once I tried them. I wonder if the difference is mostly the sugar content. Expensive though.
My best guess is that by social media he means because they're online, not around him?
Are you an illegal immigrant or otherwise ineligible to vote? How else would you be proving him right?
If you avoided Twitter, why would you think you'd like its alternative?
It's just a microblog site. Depending on what you're interested in, it can be good for news, social movements, updates from companies (i followed game devs and would see patch notes and things), keeping up with celebrities or content creators, following topics or hobbies you're interested in (like you might here), or like when nearly everyone was on Twitter - just seeing what trending things people are talking about. If something is going on, like the Mike tyson Jake Paul fight, seeing everyone's takes on it, jokes, memes, can be fun for people or make them feel connected.
