Originally a gift from France, it has become an iconic welcome for immigrants arriving in the United States, embodying hope and the pursuit of a better life. The USA has turned the Statue of Liberty into a travesty.

“violated Treasury policy”, “previously resigned”, “found to have broken protocol”, “a lawsuit from 19 state attorneys general”, etc. This just doesn’t mean anything anymore. There is no law.
