Everything about it was shit. Hopefully Netflix will never get a sporting event again. Biased opinions all the way through the fights. Commentators talking about the other fights while fights were happening. During Barrios vs Ramos WBC belt fight, they were talking about the upcoming fights. Their audio went to Holyfields earpiece, later on a mic went. Their servers crashed. Rosie Perez is not 'the first lady of boxing' What other commentary there was, was horseshit. Plugging all their shows by zooming in on their 'celebrity' crowd. I'm paying premium to watch the boxing. I don't give a fuck about Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz and their new shit film. Or the two Cobra Kai clowns. Every five minutes. The trailers for the shows just interrupted everything. I couldn't watch the best fight of the night live because their servers went down.

Netflix should never be allowed near another sporting event. Ever. From start to finish it was shit. I would also like to take this moment to point out that Rosie Perez is not the first lady of boxing.

Is the iTouch still around? I remember my beige got one and it was essentially an iPhone without sim card.

Adult content could still be accessed, so Apple were to bring out the iTouch kids.

Never happened. :/

The amount of content about Israel/Palestine that is swamped by Zionists on Reddit would imply that it is mostly already far right. The latest being the attempts to control the narrative of what happened in Netherlands around the football match. But not sure anyone believes the Zionist side of that one.

Google image results are shit on purpose. They used to be better (long before AI). I am guessing that they use the pretence that it's all about porn. But they do it for tools, equipment, stereos etc.. to give bad results. Are they getting paid (yet) to return bad results?

Manipulating search results for profit is something that they already do, and targeted adverts. So it's not that much of a stretch. I was just wondering if it is acknowledged already.

Touch screens are shit tor buttons. They can be hacked. They can be unresponsive.

There's a load of other reasons, but either or both are enough to realise that a physical button is much safer. Perfect example of safety being lost in technology. Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.

Is duckduckgo chromium based?

I don't use it, just curious.

Luckily somebody circled it for us, I'm not sure I would've known what was being pointed out to use otherwise.

Thanks, is it possible to create sub categories. I haven't ever seen a mod api, I might try one out this evening. Thanks again.

I would like to create a site that that allows people to select a category and/or a sub-category and invite people to join and partake in something for a limited time period determined by the OP, but also allowing other users to suggest alternative options as a votable option.

I have no idea where to start with any of this.

Is it just forum software that I should be looking at, and could anyone recommend one if it is. Also how much should I be looking at to begin with?

EDIT - Thanks everyone, all good options to look at. I am going to try a Lemmy Sub, as that seems to be the most favoured answer by users. Hopefully I will get to grips with it. 🙂
