Democracy didn't fail us, corporate media fucked us.

A very large portion of what any of us know about a given politician or policy is from corporate media and they absofuckinglutley have a desired outcome even if it's as simple as using misleading ragebait just to get views. It leaves us less capable of making good decisions.

I see the problem you're making, it's not always obvious so it's kind of hard to deal with.

The issue is expecting logic to have any affect on some people.

(It's always worth the effort I'm just poking fun) :P

designed to smuggle progressive attitudes toward climate change, and diversity and inclusion, into executive suites and corporate boardrooms

Ex-fucking-cuse me?

We've reached "helping puppies is literally devil worship" from these fucking psychos....

Diversity and inclusion... The act of not excluding people unnecessarily, that is a bridge too far for these hate-filled wastes of oxygen?

"I want to live in a world where corporations dictate the viability of our planet for life, where anyone can discriminate against anyone for any reason, and where we are all completely identical in skin color and culture."

That's the Republican utopia? Holy shit "conservatives" look in the mirror and ask yourself if you're the bad guy here before you go vote. (Spoiler: you are if you support them)

This is exactly what has me irritated about this whole nonsense... People have been doing that since Photoshop existed, but big scary AI is in the news now so we are going to attack it full force because people are using it in the way they've used everything that has similar capabilities...

Still no action on our actual issues though, just some performative bullshit to assist the truly needy of our society, billionaires...

So... Putin can't take Ukraine and is losing a not insignificant part of their military capabilities and yet we're concerned that we're going to deal with more war with Russia? Are they going to be coming after Europeans with sharpened sticks?

I thought the rules were changed to allow this? I don't remember the specifics but I remember being irritated that we were allowing them to keep their tax exempt status but also allowing them to get involved in politics...

This is exactly our problem.

Yes yes Trump is absolutely an issue, but it's propaganda outlets that are ruining the country. I have no solution to that problem. It's important to have a free press, but they are 100% taking advantage of that.

They stupidly set the stage for people like Trump, but they think they're just doing R vs D shit so they can get their asshole of choice into power. Well the people tend to get more crazy than anyone would prefer so you open the door for them and you have no control over who enters.

I spent hours with my mother explaining a scientific paper that was paraded around YouTube with the usual half-assed reading they do, and that fucker even ended with "don't trust me, read for yourself!" Which naturally no one does as "well he told me to look so he can't be lying."

Yeah well he was at best just dense and didn't understand, but more than likely capitalizing on sensational bullshit...

No, the Chinese are not trying to create a super deadly COVID variant Mr.Campbell...

People often completely disregard the value of money. (Mostly when it comes to our wages...)

Sure it's not a billion when referring to the old barons, but the purchasing power they held was still equivalent to billionaires of today.

Believe it or not, jail!

Not in that term, but as a concept. I do know it now though so thanks!

Breakfast cereal has evolved into a "new" market for candy makers... Reese's cereal?? Just brand it as breakfast and people somehow think they're not feeding their kids candy for breakfast... I used to buy that kind of stuff for a dessert snack lol
