First of all, does she agree with it? Second of all, is her software supported? If not, is she ready to switch to FOSS alternatives? Because if she uses Photoshop daily professionally, she is not using GIMP or Krita. At max, I think you may get her to dual boot Linux but maining Linux? Nah.

Shouldn't it be the other way around ๐Ÿ˜

Mint is the way to go. Easy UI, stupidly stable, relatively up-to-date, easy to fix problems.

You forgot the 's' after http. Your link currently opens a blank for me until I put an 's' behind it.

Do a dual boot, that's what I did. If after some time you feel like the windows partition is unnecessary, delete it. If after deletion it suddenly seems to become necessary, it is always possible to reinstall windows, there are tutorials online on how to do that.

Not even needed. You can open the Microsoft store to install Firefox or if winget is pre installed you can use winget.

Floorp, I use it and I love it. It's especially great for Opera refugees, it has workspaces and stuff. Soon Firefox will support tab groups natively, and then Floorp will be perfect. It's a Firefox fork though.

It could help disabled people move... Other than that, I'm unsure about it's purposes...
