Should have asked the Swiss, they probably know how to drill holes in rocks. Don't need a startup for that...

[–] BakerBagel@midwest.social 17 points 6 months ago (1 children)

We know how to drill holes in the US too. That's why Musk doesn't sell his tunnels to people who know what they are doing, but to morons on City Council who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

Don't know their ass from a hole in the ground

Then what is Elon really selling them? Their own ass or a hole in the ground? 🤔

yeah, any european country near the alps can help - or ask someone with experience in building subways. no need for toxic sludge there.

You are right. They know.

Don't ask Sweden, Hallandsås tunnel (8.7km) took 23 years and a lot of dead cows to complete. Turned out that the sealant Rhoca-Gil wasn't compatible with livestock.

Can we cancel his government contracts now?

[–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 10 points 6 months ago

He exposes people to chemical sludge every time he enters a room.

What the hell kind of crap is that writing?

Also, I'm surprised this is even this a thing, I thought he'd abandoned the boring company years ago.

[–] FiskFisk33@startrek.website 6 points 6 months ago (1 children)

the Boring company isn't there to make money, it's there to make public transport projects go away

[–] Kbin_space_program@kbin.social 1 points 6 months ago

Yeah and it unfortunately succeeded, so I'm surprised it is still around.
