For those who have had problems before running BDO on linux with the official launcher and not on steam.

It can be run through Bottles using the latest caffe runner.
For those of you running on steam can use the latest proton or experimental and it should work fine.

Update: Can be run with Wine ge-proton-8.26

Thanks, I had Black Desert Online written off my list years ago.

It's nice to have information available on the Fediverse for any Linux Gamer looking to find a solution to play this.
