Heya, I'm really good at inconsistency, so instead of a weekly thread, sporadic thread! Thought I'd toss one over and see what we see.

Tried any new foods, games, music, software? Finally made that mobile DJ setup so you're bangin' out beats as you ride your unicycle?

Finished that model you've been putting off for forever?

Or did you finally get your sleep schedule back on track and now you're too awake and want to wreck it again?

Oddly pretty good the last few days! Been suffering from fatigue from an unknown source and for the last 5 days I've slept well, felt 'normal' and been able to get some things done!

Where they the right things? Not really but it's the thought that counts, right?

If they made you feel more at ease, are they any less right?

Spring cleaned my car today, making sure to get all those hard to reach places where salt from winter might have accumulated.

I know you're supposed to properly wash it once a month, but that's not happening.

Also, I'm super hyped for Homeworld 3! \o/

I know you’re supposed to properly wash it once a month, but that’s not happening.

What they don't want you to realize is that if you let the salt accrue and crack the window open a little you can get a small seapond forming in the back of your car when it rains.

The building next to mine is being bought by a new person who claims to want to release the easement the current owner has over my property, which was never filed with the city and thus never disclosed during purchase.. wouldn’t have bought the place if I’d known, didn’t find out until I’d been here several years, and the only thing the current owner uses it for is to dictate what I can do with my yard and destroy my tiny lot lawn with his too-short industrial mower.

A surveyor hired by the soon-to-be owner came by today to get the exact info needed, so my property got a free survey, of which he is giving me a copy.

And it’s amazing timing because I signed the purchase agreement exactly 10 years ago, as of the day he came by to let me know.

Not much else recently. How about you?

Just got a surprise $600 bill from my edodontist that I can't reconcile with the amount I already shelled out (with insurance). So I'm dropping by tomorrow to have them explain it to me. Also finally getting inspection done on the new home we purchased. Rate is pretty high but at least the guy is highly rated and thorough. So two potential big expenses within 2 weeks.

Congrats on the new home!! and best of luck with that bill. Surprise bills (especially when they aren’t actually yours to pay) are the absolute worst.

Thank you! First time buyer here so definitely excited and nervous at the same time. Hopefully the home was built well and only minor issues are found.

Not that bad, which is strange for this time of year. Usually I'd be working 'round the clock, but my industry is in a slump, so I have some free time. Hanging out with my partner, cooking, cleaning, played a hot second of video games last week. Hoping to have time to jump back into reading Stormlight Archive, but that's one hell of an investment.

Thanks for asking, stranger. How's life by you?
