I have relatively obscure name, but there are still a couple of people that share the same name as me.
this becomes a problem when some of these people create an account with your name and post/share some questionable things that I don’t really align with, these accounts seem to be inactive for over 3 years now but they were not made by me (Facebook, Pinterest etc…).
This is a problem because they still come up as one of the first search results when googling my full name. With a decent career on the horizon, I would like to at least suppress if not delete these accounts from search results. I tried contacting the social media sites but all the support teams did was say that there is no way unless i can prove I am the owner of these accounts so that i can go in and change the settings on them which I am obviously not.
Any suggestions?
