This kind of neurotic behavior will always be present in communities hosted on lemmy.ml and is why in the long run people will prefer communities on lemmy.world

I still don’t understand why the use of racism in the description. It derives from the idea that race is actually a thing, and in a way it still promotes the idea. I would like to see a change for the much better and modern term “ethnicism”.

Race is a social concept. Race is a thing which exists. Gender is a social concept. Gender is a thing which exists. Race is based on ethnicity, but can't be explained by it alone, gender is based on sex, but can't be explained by it alone.
