Starts out strong, but off the rails by the end. Turning the dances into spells was a brilliant move though.

I see it completely differently. The bonkers ending is the cherry on top.
I had not seen the original before I saw the remake, but if I had then I still wouldn't have been prepared for that lady turning into a pretzel.
If you haven't seen the Dario argent one, do. Don't watch the remake first.
The guy made a few good ones and that's one of them.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit, although as many have mentioned it gets pretty wild towards the end. I have no nostalgia for the original, but watched it a few months before this one and the two contrast really well. For one, Thom Yorke’s soundtrack is absolutely stunning and such an interesting choice considering Goblin’s music in the original.
The ending "scene" to that music is just 👏👏👏. I go to the theatre to be surprised, and Suspiria 2018 was a real treat
