That feeling between when you decide to lay down for a nap and actually falling asleep. When there's nothing on your mind, and you get your blankets just right, It's like coziness cranked to 11. One of my favorite sensations.

I love that too, especially the part when you have nothing at the back of your head bothering you. It's been quite some time since I have that feeling. Unfortunately, in my chaotic world, there is always something going on in my head.
I hope you're able to experience that feeling again soon, OP. :)
Thank you!
Can I suggest the supplement L-Theanine? It's the chemical in tea that is associated with preventing people from getting the jitters from caffeine the way they do with coffee.
I have ADHD and anxiety, so I'm always thinking of something. It actually manages to mellow my brain out to be like, "Yeah, that's important...but is it productive to think about right now, this minute? Maybe not."
I even started taking it with my morning dose of Adderall because it tempers the intensity of the side effects.
This is actually something of a weakness of mine. I can do that so easily that sometimes I just take a nap, despite all the pressures I'm under.
Fuck, for sensual, a long and hot shower is sovereign. Just kick back and enjoy the muscles unkinking (shower chairs ftw?)
Climbing into fresh sheets after said shower.
A hot cup of beverage on a rainy day, looking out over the back yard.
Cuddling with our hen. No, that's not a typo. She's not as cuddly as she used to be, but every now and then, she'll nestle into my beard and trill while she gets her neck petted. Pure, simple joy right there. When she was smaller, it was every night. Now, it's maybe once a month.
Finding a new band/performer that resonates with me on an emotional level.
Used to take joy in baking, but that's kinda fallen off what with arthritis interfering more, but every now and then, I can pop some NSAIDs and knead a dough, or make something sweet that fills the house with that smell.
I like fixing/making stuff. Can be very rewarding and relaxing.
What type of stuff do you make?
Currently a timer based light switch for my mother, turning on/off the actual lights (so not just some lamps you plug in). Interface is a website, so easy to use for her. This will help her feel safer regarding burglars, since she can make the lights turn on and off seemingly randomly when she is gone. And not just any light but the actual lights of those rooms.
The pile of thingd I have to repair is far larger. But that is mostly too complicated to explain what I actually do to fix the stuff. But generally speaking replacing the actual chips in electronics that failed, instead of replacing everything.
For home automation needs, Home Assistant may be of interest to you.
Sounds interesting and helpful
Becoming obsessed with a project. Every once in awhile I’ll just get consumed with some kind of constructive/creative-ish project and it’s just such a nice feeling to have “a purpose”. Like, everything else in life sucks, but I’m working on something that feels important in the moment.
Taking a really nice shit is also pretty cool too.
Motorcycles.
As your attorney I advise you to buy one.
It's on my list, but currently, my financial constraints do not allow it.
Good on you for recognizing that.
It's better to wait until you can afford one.
Your bike should bring joy to your life, not financial instability.
ITT: pointlessly gendered things that human enjoy.
None of these things are limited to men. None of these things are necessarily things all men would like either. Kind of a closed mind to even have to ask the question like that in the first place like there are things only men enjoy or things that women enjoy that men simply would not.
Hugs
Whenever I come home my dog jumps up on my shoulders and just hangs there as if to give me a hug and it's the best thing ever.
Hugs and cuddles for me.
Literally anything a woman would enjoy, a man could enjoy. Take away our genders, and we're all just people.
My question is: do you think you like saunas, soaking bath salts, and scented candles because you're a woman (I'm making an assumption about that)? Do you think that if you turned into a man, would they suddenly become unpleasant to you?
I am a man and am interested to know what other men like so that I can try those things. Of course we can also like what women like. I specified non sexual and for men because whenever I searched it the returned results were always of sexual nature.
The opportunity to disconnect from responsibilities! Having a moment where you can just completely relax because you have nothing that you have to do, nowhere that you have to be, no one that you must take care of; feeling the tension just leave your body because you can finally relax.
Those are rare moments
Have one of those nights tonight.
Glass of whiskey, some bad guitar, and then a shower and pass out.
Only possible interruption is if the cat wants on my lap.
The cries of my enemies wives when they see what I've done to their husbands.
Sauna, yup. Love to go to the aquatic centre for a workout and a session in the sauna. A good shower is nice, more than a bath. If I can convince someone I have lice, I love having someone go through my hair. A top notch cappuccino or well brewed tea will take me there.
Hmm ... short list. I need to think about self care.
Problem solving
I'm not sure if it's going to be very common but I do enjoy just doing nothing like one step lower than just playing games all day
Teaching - the sharing of knowledge and understanding. It is pleasing in a special sort of way to help someone grasp a concept, a new way of thinking. It's fun to help others explore the world and broaden their horizons, if just a little bit.
Love it
Feeling safe, warm, and loved cuddled up in your lovers arms.
Can only talk for myself, but sauna with a good friend and couple cold beers on a summer evening is about as good as it gets
Hot chocolate/Tea on a cold night
Silence
switching software or even phones. it's controllable but it just feels fun
A manicure and a pedicure. Trust me bros, it's worth it.
I have never gotten them professionally, but I had a foot bath machine with bubbles and vibrations. That was very relaxing.
I had my first professional pedicure a week ago.
It felt good. I was in a massage chair too which was nice.
Watching my kids be nice to each other.
Back scratches.
