What serious coder is happy with one monitor?
Me, multiple monitors give me eye strain.
My single ultrawide setup has treated me much better than the 2-3 monitor setup I used to have.

Large monitor allows you to have a lot less neck strain and to have 3 code files open at once. I would not go back to have 2 monitors.
Tho the best is one whql + the laptop screen for slack π
and a big camera staring at you. If i am wanting to get watched while i program then i can stream and make money through that.
One is enough if it is very big
