So week ago I and my friends brew beer, had BBQ and ecologicaly liquidated my beer/cider stockpile.

Let's just say that all of us has some murky memory of it.

I just know that everything got according to plan and the beer is good.

So do you drink when you are brewing?

Step one of brewing is to drink brew while I brew! But I write everything down in my log to refer to later - measurements, observations, things that go well and things to improve on.

It's great to check that one beer I had hiding in the closet that aged amazingly well. Now I have a hope of repeating it.

I'll have one after I've dropped in the bittering hops, and one between pitching the yeast and cleanup. Too many little whoopsies if I have more.

As arrogant as it is, I've brewed enough beer in my life that I feel it's too easy without the added handicap of being drunk...

I am at this point, but then you brew amazing beer and don't know how you brew it.
