I recently bought a house and even I know (and have own experience) enough with electrics to make minor fixs or improves like to install new wires, change connections, etc. it’s not allowed to do by yourself and I will have to contract a licensed electrician.

But this norm also applies to low voltage appliance like wall-integrated displays, sensors, cameras, etc? I like to DIY with homeimprovement with homeassistant and I’m not sure that I’m allowed to do that… I mean I know I will not be fined for do that but may the home insurance will try to not take responsibility of fire for example if they found that I installed something even if the fire is not caused by this.
