This review and benchmark of the Fractal Terra (Jade) Mini-ITX case looks at the build quality, the ease-of-installation features, cable management, and design qualities of the new small form factor (SFF) case from Fractal. We also deploy our hemi-anechoic acoustic testing chamber for some initial numbers, run thermal benchmarks and comparisons, and talk about what kind of build makes the most sense with this case. The closest competitors would come from Formd and the DAN Case A4-H2O. We are working on the DAN Case ITX review next!

I’m not an ITX guy by any means, but I’m happy they’re branching out into the space. I tend to agree with their viewpoints that different, non-gamer non-red and black Cool™️ designs are critical for the DIY market to branch out into. ITX cases are, for the most part, the only innovative designs in cases that are truly different and advancing products.

That being said I’d only be interested in something like the NZXT H210 if I were to actually build ITX so… maybe I’m an asshole.

The h210 basically is an ATX sized case but few cm shorter in height and limited to itx motherboards. It has bad airflow and shouldn’t be used with anything above two slot gpus. Maybe the Fractal Ridge is something bigger you might like, or the trusted Cooler Master NR200P if you want to be limited by itx, for mATX check out the Jonsbo D31 or Asus AP201
