The reason Republicans refuse to do anything about climate change is because they're the political wing of the Christian Nationalists. Their Bible says that the world can't end until Israel reclaims the temple mount and after that, "a third of the grass and trees will burn up."
They're working on making that "prophesy" come true so they can dupe more people into their death cult.
When you realize that everything the Republicans do is for the sole purpose of helping Christians with their absolutely fucking hostile takeover of not just the United States, but the entire world, you'll have a better understanding of the lunacy we're seeing on the daily.
