You could probably use some sort of adhesive or tape but I don't think that would help them work together.

There's a way. You need a CFW on your Switch. Mission Control supports many other controllers incl. Wiimote.

Are they not Bluetooth? I swear I remember connecting my Wiimote to my PC via Bluetooth eons ago by just holding down the 1 and 2 buttons to enter pairing mode.

You're right i'm full of shit, they do in fact use bluetooth.

Also why would using WiFi make it slower? And why on Earth would using an adapter help with that?
