One of my favorite Apollo features was I could be in the middle of a deep comment section. Swipe back to the homepage, then swipe over into where I left off in the comments. I believe this was handled by edge swipes vs swipes from not quite the edge for up/down votes. No idea how it remembered location.

Love the app! Really made the transition to Lemmy much easier.

I think that was swipe forward right? You can either swipe back or forward and that was my my favourite thing about Apollo too.

For now Iโ€™m just happy that swipe back works. Iโ€™m sure one day swipe forward will be implemented!

100% agreed. It was a feature I relied on constantly in Apollo. Also swiping left/right on the button area at the bottom of screen did the same thing, which was super useful when using the phone one-handed.

I didnโ€™t know that about the button area!

Iโ€™ve found myself trying to do this in all the apps, just out of habit from using Apollo for so long haha

Would love to get the feature back as I am super clumsy

Another vote for this. I keep doing it out of habit and I have my fingers crossed one day it works!
