It shows as Twitter in the App Store for me, but says “X” under the icon on my Home Screen.
I'm guessing that probably violates some app store rule.
I'd agree. The two character requirement made for a hilarious one liner in the article though "he already has a company named SpaceX."

I don't have metrics but I imagine that phishing related activities are going to increase and it does mention a security-related alert due to the change in the article.
But I do understand your concern.
If they wanted too they’d just do what everyone else is doing on the app store and call it “X - Social Media” or “X - WHAT’S HAPPENING”
I feel like he'd try and pull a lame meme name change if forced. "XXX" is immature enough for him to try I bet lol.
