More people have personality traits straight lifted from media they enjoyed than people that haven't.

I'm fifty and my "charm your panties off" then "walk away and leave them wanting" thing is straight lifted from a combination of old Robert Redford, Paul Newman, 007, and Steve McQueen movies my uncle had. I was a sick kid, in the hospital all the time for a few years, and I watched those tapes non stop. After I got better and hit puberty, I used my stolen skills and fake confidence to get laid as much as possible. I even started smoking (bad idea) to fully emulate those guys. It worked like a charm. Fake it 'til you make it.
