Recall Alerts

A place to post product recalls. Recalls can be national or local, even just one store down the street. Nor are they limited to one country, if a product is declared unsafe by the government or the maker, share it here.

Title should reflect what's being recalled, body should say where and/or have a link to the announcement.

Old news. Unlike the cited ground beef, I'd hoped the posts here would be fresh.

Typically are, but since I have posting problems on my phone, I send links to m'self, and with how the last month has gone, I fell behind on following links I shared with m'self by around 2 or so weeks.

Ah, don't mind me. I woke up crabby.

In 2020, had to cut meat out of my diet for health reasons. It was hard to do. Then in 2021, meat got super expensive.

Stories like this makes it easier to make the switch imo.

I still have a burger once every few months.

I'm kinda the same way, while I like a good burger or hot dog, meat is more of an accessory for me, a bit of chicken on my salad or maybe a piece of sausage on my breakfast sandwich, but it's not required, most of my meals don't have any meat in them.

Isn't e coli usually present in ground meat ? that's why they can't sell it rare.

E Coli won't survive cooking. Most e coli are harmless actually.

Usually recalls are for salmonella or botulism, which is still poisonous after cooking.
