I'm using a watch face that shows my step count at the top, and a progress bar representing my progress towards my step goal at the bottom. It's a default-available watch face on my Forerunner 935, not one I downloaded from anywhere.

At the top, above the step count, often appears a red bar, but I haven't figured out what it actually means. Does anyone know?

That looks like the “Move” reminder. It will slowly grow to make the red bar solid until you get up and move for a few minutes. Then it will reset into the pieces. It’s used to remind you to get up and move.

Oh right. Ha! Well you can tell from my step counter that...yeah, that's a fairly accurate reminder right now.

Thanks!
