No, it's not us. It's making things for the lowest common denominator. It's sites like godaddy and whatnot that give people access to make clones of everyone else's website. Everything is just a copy paste of each other. The internet is fine, those sites still exist, it's just been flooded by people who want to do but can't be bothered to learn so they all copy each other because of GoDaddy, or WordPress..templates...

I don't blame "us" either. Sure there are still websites out there but they are all enshittified. Facebook login required, plenty of ads, shitty regurgitated content that's completely ruined by SEO, etc.
