There are a number of browser extensions I consider myself unable to live without.

The speed control extension that adds keybinds for changing speed and allows me to go beyond 2x still tops the list, but DeArrow is a very, very close second.

Changing speed of your mouse pointer? I don't really get it.

I could really use that extension 👀 got a link?

If you mean DeArrow, here you go: https://dearrow.ajay.app/

Its job is to fightclicknbait by allowing users to suggest alternate titles and thumbnails for videos and getting rid of words in ALL CAPS??!!????!?

Assuming you meant the video speed control extension, there are a number of them. Here's the exact one I use. I found it through the highly technical method of Googling "YouTube speed control extension", installing the first couple hits, picking the one I liked best, and uninstalling the others. I like this extension because it supports custom keybinds for speeding up/slowing down by arbitrary amounts and jumping to a preset speed, and because it works on all sites that play video, not just YouTube, meaning I can turn up the speed on Netflix if I want.

Guy sits in front of a mic, reading 9 year old uninventive internet trolling comments.

At least it isn't plagiarism, I guess 🙄

God damn it. People really get offended by everything. But if I as Christian wants to ban Halloween then I am the fascist.

Consider "not celebrating" instead of "banning" and maybe you'll be less of a fascist. Maybe.

Samhain was co-opted (into all hallows eve) by Christians to convince more celts to convert, wasn't it?

Edit: I just realized I "well actually'd"... Sorry about that. LOL

That's an actually interesting read, thank you.

Banning either is fascist, although I assume/hope you were joking.

[–] Apollo2323@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 10 months ago

Yes I was joking lol
