That is still how it feels playing Scrabble with my mom. She wrote for a living for years and is way too good at Scrabble.

Hello fellow Calvin and Hobbes fans!
About this community and how I post the comic strip… The comics are posted in chronological order on the day (usually) they were released. Posting them to match the release date adds a bit of fun and nostalgia to match the experience of reading them in the newspaper for first time. Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. It really sucked when I missed a day. Only years later, when I got the books was I able to catch up on the missed strips.

I have a big vocabulary but all I ever get are consonants.
I like to believe I have a colorful and fairly large vocab since I grew up in a reading household and was obsessed with dictionary's word of the day for years. However, I am an awful speller.
I blame the fact that the English language is actually three languages in a trenchcoat pretending to be it's own language.
Sadly I've still yet to get "Bugles" on the board...as a word for points I mean, definitely spilled some in the past O.o
Great strip, but the image quality was #%*^ on my old eyes.
I think it depends on how your app handles previews? I used to get really grainy images on sync before a recent update.

The preview looks fine, other than being too small for me to read. When I zoom in on each panel, as I do on all of these, it is fairly blurry. This is an issue with the scan from GoComics.
