I heard it's bc the most popular novel site only shows the title so they started packing the entire description onto the title to try and get attention, which led to this mess

The opening for the Blood Joe anime is just 8 guitars wailing
Dude that was the Funimation dub. The original Japanese opening was a city pop song.
shiti pop
I've never wanted to watch something that doesn't exist so badly.
Go watch Megalo Box, might as well be called Blood Joe.
Thats mostly to do with more and more manga being adapted form lightnovels and then that style of titling starting to affect manga original titles as well. Although as soon as you filter out the generic Isekai garbage you'll find most mangas have decent names.
Mangas on my todo list are
-
The former top 1‘s sub-character training diary: A dedicated player is currently conquering another world
-
My entire class was summoned to another world except for me
-
problem children are coming from another world, aren’t they?

Overgeared
Title quality improved a lot with that last one. And content quality is a bit better too imo.
For some reason i was expecting a sci-fantasy instead of a crappy, generic mmo isekai, I'm very disappointed.
I think I read all the good isekai already. Putting anything on my to-read list where people get to other worlds or are levelling.
Sorry for the disappointment 😅
The rest are just worse generic isekais.
I like generic isekais. I think I am through with all the good ones..
Same
Overgeared is overrated imo. Mc just keeps getting stronger and winning by pure luck is kind of boring me with time.
I have enjoyed the training diary, but I'm seriously addicted and have tons I'm reading. So the actual quality is both suspect because of how much I read between each chapter and how low my bar for reading is.
It did feel like the recent arc of taming this one monster was a little dragged out, and then I was a little disappointed by the actual result of it.
It's been like that for a while. "No Matter How I Look at It, It's You Guys' Fault I'm Not Popular!" (aka Watamote) has been going since 2013, and I guarantee there's earlier examples.
What do you mean 2013 was like 3 years ago- turns to dust
I miss Blood Joe.
Back when MCs were filled with personalty instead of being a generic blank slate for the reader to self insert as
But why would someone read a novel about dating two slime stepsister, if the main character is totally unrelateable?
If it says something meaningful about the human condition
