Enough Musk Spam

2204 readers
303 users here now

For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

Yaccarino did not elaborate on how many of those were paying users and how the number compared with an average month.

This is the important bit.

What was the net number of users gained? What’s the count of monetizable daily average users? What was the growth year over year and what’s the trend?

Twitter is using every weasel word possible rather than giving industry standard KPIs.

They probably just turned off the CAPTCHA on their signup page.

What about Attuned User App Microseconds?

[–] LemmyKnowsBest@lemmy.world 41 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Ugh. How? Probably just 10 million bots from a bot farm in a closet somewhere in China.

[–] nocturne213@lemm.ee 23 points 11 months ago

They are all muskbots so he can like his posts and retweet himself.

That's a Xillion bots.

Adding user accounts isn't really the metric that ANY web property reports on. It's all about daily active users, and you'll note that the DAU number isn't discussed. I do love that Al Jazeera used the picture of her wearing that shitty inside out jacket on stage like the clown she is, though. Nice touch.

How many did they lose? 10 mil in, 20 mil out?

Tell us the delta, you coward.

Someone looks like she has her jacket on the wrong way

[–] badmemes@feddit.de 6 points 11 months ago (1 children)

No, you see, thats designer. For this outstanding and marvellous idea she probably paid some designer several thousand bucks. And that price is what makes it cool.

[–] LemmyIsFantastic@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

Def not cool. My room full of anime figurines is where they money should go!

Does anybody else think we’re going to see her aging like the portrait of Dorian Gray the longer she stays in that position?

Twitter is still only the 18th most popular worldwide. Even Reddit has more users.
