Just like the prophet asked them to. But Mormons don’t follow the prophet when his words conflict with their personal politics.

My dad has COVID for the second time and it’s been quite serious both times. I’m almost sure he got it from church. It’s not right to throw away this life because you believe the next life will be better.

My parents were skeptical of the vaccine until Nelson said it was safe. I still say that just because a broken clock is right twice a day doesn't make it useful.

I’m glad the prophet helped your parents.

My parents were on a senior mission. They asked their leaders if they should get the vaccine or not, since they were close to coming home. Their leaders recommended against it, since they would only be able to get one dose of three. I asked them to get one dose, then complete the series at home. Fortunately, they listened to me, because otherwise I think it would have been worse when they got COVID.
