Becuse scooters are something the youths and poors use, massive SUVs are a upper middle class thing, obviously.
Haven't read the articule, but SUV's pay tax, sales/fuel etc so do nothing they are generating revenue. e-scooters/micro mobility? scum of the earth, it can't be free to move around?! insanity!
Can't wait to get an e-scoot myself.
even the taxes paid by SUV's, the damage they do to the road structure is 100 times worth more since they are heavier vehicles. plus the amount of diesel they consume. No tax could ever cover these costs
