And to think that in 2021, I was rooting for Max to snag the championship because I wanted something different to happen after seven seasons of Merc/Hamilton dominance. I'm sorry guys, I made a wish on the monkey's paw, and this boring-ass season was my fault...

Are we checking? This is a place to take a p*ss out of motorsports.
F1 is not the only motorsport in the world, so go ahead and post your shitposts about WEC or MotoGP or IndyCar or ralley or Polish Speedway or whatever. Even Formula E, I guess. It needs some love, too.
By the way, F2 > F1.
Rules? What rules? Stop inventing. Just don't be a douche. Lemmy.world's sporting conduct applies.
Now max goes on to win every championship for every. Max at 40 world champion Max at 60 the same Max at 100 still world champion. Guess what Max at 150 yep still alive and still winning. People stopped watching 70 years ago he is the only one on the grid and still winning. You can just barely see him mouth "please kill me now" as he tries to lift the trophy over his head.
I made the same wish. Oh how wrong I was.
I never watch it.. Is it cool?
Yeah but you really only need to watch a race here and there to get the gist of it.
That's like saying you only need to watch like 5 minutes of a movie. Doesn't make any sense
If the movie is long, repetitive, and filled with spunkgargleweewee then you’d be fine watching a summary of the good parts.
So this was your first F1 season huh
You’re off your rocker if you really think every race of a season, especially this season, has to be watched.
You don't have to do anything friend. Just enjoy F1. Sometimes one race makes a big difference though, if would be a shame to miss it. But you can enjoy it in entirely your own way.
It's kind of cool, although some or even most races are kind of boring, especially this season as Max Verstappen won 19 out of 22 races
There’s a documentary series on Netflix called “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”. Might want to watch an episode or two. Getting to know the backstories of the teams and drivers is what got my wife and I interested in watching the actual races
Exactly my sentiment this year, I’ve felt it’s all pointless since before summer break this year, Max ran off in the distance, everyone else just mopes a minute behind and even half the midfield has been set since the Asian portion of the calendar. Hopefully next year has some real competition again, we’ll see in 90ish days I suppose
