Harry Kane battling Bayern's Tottenham. Tears in my eyes

[–] Black_XistenZ@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (3 children)

The memes would be endless if Bayern miss out on the championship for the first time in 11 years as soon as Kane plays for them.

while beating lewa's record as well

it'd be glorious

[–] SolutionFit6550@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

And slightly unfair towards Leverkusen. They did a really, really good job last summer and Alonso is a fantastic coach.

[–] Gcooifescghmpc@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I am a Tottenham and Kane fan... can confirm i would actually cry

[–] pukem0n@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

While Tottenham wins the PL at the same time

[–] Quacky33@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It is fun sometimes to see what happens when they ask someone to write a dumbed down fluff piece for the average casual English fan.

I like how Leverkusen apparently belong to Alonso while Bayern belong to Kane. Tuchel, more like who-chel amiright?

[–] il0vegaming123456@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Thomas Tucheliban my manager 😍

"Having Tuchel as manager for 1 season is like being ruled by The Qaeda for 10 years"

-very real quote

Bayern belongs to Thomas Müller!

[–] coreyperryisasaint@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Ah yes, Bayern, the Harry Kane team

[–] growinginsour@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Tears in my eyes

[–] cor7in@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Previously known as Choupo-Moting's Bayern.

[–] Makaay-10@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Bayern still isn't full into gear they are still inconsistent. Leverkusen proved a couple of times that they can't hold the performance up full season. Nothing major will happen in the first half. The second half is a different story. If I remember bayern 2nd half star under nagelsman 2023, it was utter dogshit. So I don't know what will happen this time.

[–] Peaky_Blinders@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

i believe it was Tuchels' Bayern Munich

[–] The_Big_Cheese_09@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Mid Jan-Mid Feb is going to be a huge test for the Pills. They lose 5 players to the Africa & Asian tournaments plus they'll be juggling the Pokal and Europa League KOs.

[–] Rethrovsk@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

More like Bayern Neverloosin.

[–] CarlSK777@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

We'll see where they stand in February post-AFCON.

Neverkusen vs trophyless Kane means only one thing - Stuttgart are winning the league this year

[–] myo_chan@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Neverkusen lmao I only ever heard of Vizekusen

[–] Turniermannschaft@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Harry Kane's Bayern Munich

It's Gary Neville's Valencia all over again.

[–] Collinson33311@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

It's almost like it's a British news site aimed at British people.

[–] gordonpown@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

It's almost like Brits cannot physically process anything foreign

It’s hilarious that the BBC is using Leverkusen’s slander name.

[–] Greasy_Boglim@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

BBC reporting is fucking honking lol

[–] SnooOranges357@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

[–] AdrianKnup@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (2 children)

[–] AdrianKnup@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

[–] schneebaer42@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

And Schnix. And Ramelow. And Neuville. And Butt.

[–] basedjuicer1@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

That was more than an indirect by the BBC

[–] AleArg99@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago (1 children)

[–] madjupiter@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

[–] Jakowe@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

We are Harry Kane’s team though, undisputed star of the club right now

[–] mynameistrihexa666@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

harry kane was coaching bayern?

[–] eurovisionfanGA@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Bayer Leverkusen is the Bundesliga's elephant on top of the tree. Nobody knows how it got there but everybody knows it will fall down.

[–] NCL-NYC@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I really hope he doesn’t go to Bayern.

[–] Final_Fit@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

Never say Neverkusen.

[–] FOKvothe@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

My God British media is embarrassing.

[–] Jiminyfingers@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago

I know he wanted to go, but I feel Arsenal should have really tried to persuade Xhaka to stay another season

[–] k34t0n@alien.top 1 points 10 months ago
