I've seen a couple people mentions on here they use swift backup on their phone and connect it to NextCloud. My question is how though? I've been trying for weeks and the developer tells me it's a server issue and spouts of stuff like file size limitations (currently set to 16G) and just recently said to make sure I have moving files enabled and I can't find that option in NextCloud documentation. I keep getting either error 429 locked out 404 not there. Done of my days gets uploaded and I can see it but not all. Like my backup if using Google is almost 30 gigs and NextCloud is 11 so it fails a lot. Anyone have these issues and found a fix? Also for the file lock, it still happens even if I disable file locking in the config.php file which I know is a bad idea. I'm using the Linux server NextCloud instance, route through traefik reverse proxy. Let me know if you can think of anything, I'm at my wits end with this app because everything else seems to work on the server but the Dev can't give clear instructions.

This is probably not the answer you are looking for, but I use SMB for the backup. That works pretty well, and I had no issues whatsoever. I didn't open ports for that because I only do backups when I'm home, and if I do need my backups, I access them via Tailscale (VPN). It was pretty simple to set up. If you have questions about the setup process, DM me.
