I'd have thought they'd have needed to renew it before the football season started, no? But I'm presuming this was a formality and they were recording anyway.

The fact they (and Notts) have been doing so well in the league probably helps massively. It would have been a damb squib of a season if Wrexham just mired in midtable.

They've been filming, renewing is about contracts, money and stuff. Takes a while

They aren't going to drop this anytime soon, literally one of their most watched shows

Plus don't piss of RR.

It's also probably incredibly cheap to produce.

Wrx revenue generation is insane for a sub-Champions club without "pro history" and this deal will lead to having extra money to work with in January and summer and they will get S4 greenlit if they go up in spring. That team combo will be a sight to see if they pull it off and a bet that more players will take pay cuts or reject better offers to get the exposure, even for just one year, and a possible soapbox on an Emmy-nominated Disney hit.

R&R have enough money to get them into the Champions League and stay midfield (oh mid-field) but the TV deal is their money steroids. The club also stayed drama-free for 2.5 years.

without "pro history"

Excuse me but wtf?

S3 is set to premiere in Spring so it all will be done for the L1(?) 2024/25 season. What won´t be ready is the new standing section. What a saga there!

Let's say they get promoted to League One in this current season. Then they spend the next 5+ years in League One because they can't get out of it. Do they keep filming the show during that? Because it'll be more of the same year after year. There's only so many human interest stores they can do about Wrexham that doesn't involve the team.
